…do you feel like a puzzle, you can’t find the missing piece…
(Coldplay)
It’s been very quiet around here lately. That’s due to something I’d call a clash of winter depression and spring fatigue – and then again, not. I lack the pizzazz to do anything. Over and over again, I threw a hint here and there, and you might have noticed that there are quite a few photos of doors and windows here, so this might hint somewhere, too.
Did I ever tell you about my “soul cabinet”? It’s a place where I store all of my sacred and wonderful memories and feelings, keeping them in precious little boxes, wrapped in cotton and fine wrapping tissue, to be opened, looked at and enjoyed every now and then when I’m sad or otherwise need encouragement.
I opened this cabinet to a few people, to show them some of my treasures. I found only a few people worthy of that. Some of them are pleased with what they see, amazed or delighted, but as you can imagine, there are people who don’t cherish those little treasures, who look at them (and at you), uncomprehendingly and even laugh at them and throw them on the ground to trample on them. Which means pain, for me. I cannot open up to them again...
But lately, I can’t seem to find the key to that closet, not even for myself.
I simply HAVE to find it...
